The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cock Muncher.
Cock Muncher shoots in and drives through. McConnell sprawls well.
McConnell goes for a double leg but Cock Muncher avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cock Muncher continues to drive forward.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McConnell jumps guard but Cock Muncher stands there with McConnell around his waist. McConnell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McConnell is trying to pull guard but Cock Muncher has him pressed against the cage.
Yuk Cock Muncher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael McConnell .
McConnell prevents the takedown attempt.
McConnell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
