Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koji Kimura (ranked 2509 p4p, 4415 weight class) and Xolo Loco (ranked 285 p4p, 451 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xolo Loco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kimura. Kimura circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kimura fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimura takes one to the side of the head.

and Loco counters with a straight right hand.
Kimura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Loco is fending him off so far but Kimura persists. Nope, Loco circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koji Kimura. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kimura walks into a left hand.
Kimura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loco but Loco pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kimura looks for a takedown but Loco sprawls well.
Kimura closes the distance and clinches up with Loco, looking for a takedown. Kimura pushes Loco against the cage but Loco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kimura takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Loco throws a combination. Kimura tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Loco slaps away a takedown attempt from Kimura, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Loco!
Koji Kimura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kimura fails with the takedown
and Loco counters with a three punch combo that has Kimura backing up. Kimura nods at Loco to acknowledge the strikes.
Loco thuds his right hand into Kimura's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kimura shoots in but no luck this time.
Loco swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kimura is breathing heavily.
Loco stuffs the takedown.
Kimura shoots and misses
and Kimura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Loco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Loco connects with a single shot there.
Kimura shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kimura doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Loco is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Kimura like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Kimura from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xolo Loco!
A very excited looking Xolo Loco rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
