Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Gordy (ranked 4512 p4p, 4517 weight class) and Andy Slappin (ranked 330 p4p, 332 weight class). Andy Slappin has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrence Gordy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Slappin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordy has closed the distance and engaged Slappin in a clinch.
Slappin missing with knees to the body.
Slappin tightens his grip and picks Gordy up, before dumping him to the ground. Gordy manages to land in guard.
Gordy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gordy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gordy has his foot on Slappin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slappin works his way back into a safe position though.
Slappin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gordy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Slappin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Slappin wants to stand and escape but instead Gordy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slappin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gordy is one step ahead there.
Gordy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Slappin controlling the position.
Gordy controlling from the top position.
Slappin looking to control but Gordy passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gordy controlling the action here.
Slappin wants to control but Gordy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Slappin wants to control but Gordy passes into side.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slappin tries to improve position but can't.
Gordy controlling the position from side mount.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gordy darts in and clinches Slappin up against the cage.
Gordy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Slappin uses from the top position.
Slappin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gordy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Slappin trying to control the position from guard on top but Gordy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Slappin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gordy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Slappin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gordy's body to avoid the submission. Gordy has instead reached around Slappin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gordy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
