The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
White Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Orion was covering up waiting for the punch and White Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: White Jr (2) vs (0) Orion
White Jr drops back looking for a leg! Orion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Orion manages to kick White Jr off! White Jr jumps back into Orion's guard.
Orion is looking for a triangle but White Jr pushes his legs off easily.

White Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
White Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and White Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Orion is looking for a triangle but White Jr pushes his legs off easily.
White Jr wants to pass the guard but Orion is keeping the position.
Orion had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. White Jr defends it easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Orion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orion is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! White Jr rolls with it to try and escape but Orion cranks on the arm and White Jr is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
