The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isaacs throws a head kick that misses.

Novak drives through and clinches with Isaacs against the cage.
Novak is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Novak working hard to break the clinch.
Isaacs stops a takedown attempt from Novak.

Isaacs is fighting off a takedown attempt but Novak is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Isaacs to the mat. Isaacs regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Novak with a flurry of punches that miss.
Novak content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Novak working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Isaacs's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Isaacs has an active guard here but Novak has managed to pass into half guard.
Novak perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Novak is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Novak prevents Isaacs from improving his position.

Novak slips a nice elbow through Isaacs's hands, connecting with Isaacs's forehead.
Novak is looking to advance position but Isaacs won't allow it.
Isaacs on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Novak connects with a nice short shot to Isaacs's temple.

Novak slows the pace down in half guard.

Novak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Isaacs keeps working.

Isaacs is bucking up trying to escape but Novak cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Novak unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Isaacs wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Novak celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
