And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 20 losses; Ken Vrjalya!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Vrjalya looks for a takedown but Steel sprawls well.

Vrjalya tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vrjalya has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Vrjalya swings around for an armbar but Steel sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vrjalya's guard.

Steel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Vrjalya is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
