Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anno Bik!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bik trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom.
Bik drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bik jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bik won't allow Brown to get back to his feet.
Bik pushing down on Brown's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Bik is working for a submission of some sort.
Bik is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bik is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Bik eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bik stops Brown from getting back to his feet.
Bik has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Brown defend it? Bik steps over the head and cranks it - Brown is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bik!
