Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granger Stoll (ranked 2733 p4p, 5058 weight class) and Ding Ding Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Granger Stoll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ding Ding Dong!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoll scores with a one two! Ding Dong had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Stoll throws a right hand that misses

and Ding Dong counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ding Dong advances to half guard.
Ding Dong misses with a head shot. Stoll uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ding Dong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stoll swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stoll managing to control the position.
Ding Dong trying to control the position from guard on top but Stoll is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stoll definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ding Dong wants to pass the guard but Stoll is keeping the position.

Ding Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Stoll is retaining full guard.

Stoll is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ding Dong is aware though and is defending well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Ding Dong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ding Dong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ding Dong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Stoll manages to get back to half guard.

Ding Dong working over Stoll with some ground and pound. Stoll looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Stoll might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stoll is positioning himself well to prevent Ding Dong advancing to mount.

Ding Dong is looking for a kimura but Stoll is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ding Dong to get the leverage.
Stoll tries to roll over but Ding Dong keeps him under control.
Ding Dong not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Stoll swings away with a body shot that misses

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ding Dong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stoll is trying to get back to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stoll keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stoll fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stoll changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ding Dong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stoll counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stoll misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ding Dong.

Ding Dong ducks under a wild hook from Stoll.
Ding Dong closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ding Dong on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stoll cracks a nice hook into Ding Dong's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stoll is looking to clinch.
Granger Stoll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice straight punches there by Stoll. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stoll.
Ding Dong's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stoll connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ding Dong scrambles back to his feet.
Ding Dong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stoll avoids it really well and circles away.
Stoll fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sloppy strikes from Stoll. Those never looked like landing.
Stoll lands a jab.

Ding Dong misses with a head kick.
Ding Dong has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Stoll smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Granger Stoll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stoll tries to clinch there but Ding Dong circles away.
Stoll backing away here, and Ding Dong unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The referee calls for Stoll to work.

Stoll lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ding Dong backwards.

Stoll lands a nice uppercut.

Stoll breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ding Dong gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Stoll gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ding Dong is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Granger Stoll!
In defeat, Ding Ding Dong stepped up to the mic, saying '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
