PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Un Kha (ranked 24676 p4p, 4743 weight class) and Satan Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kha comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. The key to victory for Un Kha has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Satan Blue!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blue looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kha thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Blue is trying to control Kha's posture but Kha avoids it.
Blue is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kha is staying active.
Blue tries to bench press Kha off him but Kha keeps the position.
Kha has knee on belly momentarily but Blue bucks him off and regains half guard.
Blue manages to get to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Blue holds on and takes a little breather.

Blue lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Blue is in close to Kha's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kha is trying to control the position but Blue postures up.
Blue slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Blue looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Blue is trying to control the action in half guard but Kha is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Blue takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Blue not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blue lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kha keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kha has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Blue is looking to advance position but Kha won't allow it.
Blue trying to control the action but Kha is working from the bottom.
Kha won't allow Blue to pass to mount.
Kha is staying active underneath Blue, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Blue lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Blue in particular looking to stall.
Kha on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Blue thows a huge punch but Kha dodges it nicely.
Kha is breathing heavily.

Blue slips a nice elbow through Kha's hands, connecting with Kha's forehead.
Blue is nestled in close to Kha, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Blue moves nicely into side control.
Blue has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kha!

BOOM! Blue connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Blue lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Blue landing strikes, looking to finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blue on the ground.

A big strike lands for Blue! That's really hurt Kha and he's turned his back - Blue keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Blue jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Satan Blue!
A relieved looking Satan Blue thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Un Kha had this to say: 'i'll be back!'.
