Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charles Maine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Boss!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Boss wants to control from the top but Maine keeps moving.
Maine wants to sweep here but Boss controlling him for the moment.

Maine is looking for a triangle but Boss pushes his legs off easily.

Maine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boss defends it easily.
Boss tries to stand but Maine is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boss has managed to get both his arms back between Maine's legs - danger averted.

Boss is looking to defend but Maine has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Boss! Maine pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Boss taps out and this one is all over!
