Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Zee (ranked 4457 p4p, 4382 weight class) and Jason Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Zee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Hammer.

Zee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hammer is trying is best to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zee is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Zee wants to pass the guard but Hammer is defending well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zee feints and then cracks Hammer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hammer down.
Zee shoots in looking for a takedown but Hammer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zee looks for a takedown but Hammer sprawls well.
A little jabbing left from Hammer on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hammer keeps the fight on the outside.

Zee dives in and scores a takedown into Hammer's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hammer controls Zee momentarily but Zee frees himself.

Zee wants to stand but Hammer is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hammer can't keep his opponent in guard - Zee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zee throwing shots but Hammer is blocking nicely.
Well, if Zee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hammer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Zee.
Hammer is trying to keep Zee in close.
Zee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hammer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hammer is looking to reverse the position.

Zee tries to stand but Hammer is controlling his head.

Zee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

That's time! Zee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matthew Zee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
