Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Garces (ranked 24785 p4p, 3494 weight class) and Simon Slytherin (ranked 549 p4p, 408 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miguel Garces!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Slytherin!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slytherin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Garces under the eye.
Garces takes one to the side of the head.
Garces shoots and misses
enabling Slytherin to counter with a crisp jab.

Garces wants to clinch
and Slytherin counters with a stiff right hand.
Garces takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Slytherin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Slytherin lands with a nice body punch.
Garces throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slytherin's waist but Slytherin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garces off to one side.
No luck for Garces with that takedown attempt.
Slytherin throws out a counter right but Garces avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Garces. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slytherin lands a lovely overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slytherin cracks a nice hook into Garces's ribs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Slytherin.

Slytherin catches Garces with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Slytherin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Garces had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Garces tries to clinch up but Slytherin circles away and keeps his distance.
Garces misses with a takedown
and Slytherin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Garces shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slytherin defends it nicely.

and Slytherin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Garces takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Garces with a lazy takedown attempt
and Slytherin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slytherin with a jab.
Slytherin cracks Garces with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slytherin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Garces to stand back up!
Garces is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slytherin fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Garces to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Garces looks to clinch but Slytherin throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Garces taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Simon Slytherin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
