Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mustafa Erdogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuel Sycek!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sycek looks for a takedown but Erdogan sprawls well.
Erdogan throws a looping overhand right but Sycek ducks down to avoid it.
Sycek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sycek or perhaps it was just good defense by Erdogan, which made it look bad.
Erdogan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mustafa Erdogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Sycek.
A slow jab from Erdogan misses its intended target.
Sycek takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sycek has his takedown stuffed
and Erdogan counters with a nice leg kick.
Erdogan lands with a nice body punch.
Sycek fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Erdogan avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sycek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Erdogan tries to avoid it but Sycek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Erdogan to the ground. Erdogan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Erdogan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Erdogan closes the distance and pushes Sycek back into the cage.
Sycek has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Erdogan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Erdogan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Erdogan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Erdogan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sycek misses with a hook.
Erdogan cracks Sycek with a good jab.
It looks like Samuel Sycek has been cut.
Sycek will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Erdogan lands a big head kick that sends Sycek tumbling to the mat! Erdogan takes a step backwards and waves Sycek back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sycek is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Erdogan shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sycek takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Erdogan sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sycek bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mustafa Erdogan!
