Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Shalashaska (ranked 328 p4p, 372 weight class) and Nikolay Leonov (ranked 22 p4p, 24 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Shalashaska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Leonov!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Leonov catches Shalashaska right on the button with a cross.
Leonov throws a head kick but Shalashaska moves out of range.

As Shalashaska backs off Leonov throws a huge counter combo but Shalashaska manages to avoid it all.
Shalashaska takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Nikolay Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Shalashaska changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leonov tries to avoid it but Shalashaska manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leonov to the ground. Leonov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nikolay Leonov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Leonov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shalashaska - the referee stops the clock and Leonov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shalashaska. Leonov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
