Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Taco (ranked 6019 p4p, 5450 weight class) and Kim Kapuan (ranked 515 p4p, 490 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Taco has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Taco seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapuan throws a head kick but Taco moves out of range.
Taco drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kapuan sprawls and moves away.
A head kick misses from Kapuan.
As Kapuan looks to move away, Taco throws a big counter combo but Kapuan just gets out of the way.
Nice takedown defense from Kapuan. No joy for Taco on that attempt.
Kapuan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kapuan checks a leg kick.

Taco tries to counter with a takedown but Kapuan is quick to defend against it.

Taco ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Taco no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Taco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kapuan drops his hands momentarily and Taco takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Kim Kapuan has been cut.
Kapuan throws a lazy body kick
and Taco counters with a straight right hand.
Taco shoots in looking for a takedown. Kapuan tries to sprawl out of it but Taco keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kapuan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
