Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Ferriera (ranked 1803 p4p, 2260 weight class) and Pablo Esposito (ranked 156 p4p, 185 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Rodrigo Ferriera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pablo Esposito!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esposito throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferriera's waist but Ferriera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Esposito off to one side.

Esposito is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ferriera's half guard.

Ferriera has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Esposito is on him like a limpet, forcing Ferriera back against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rodrigo Ferriera.
Well Ferriera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
