Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buzz Bullard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stan Man!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullard shoots in for a takedown but Man shows good takedown defense.
Bullard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Man back to the cage. Bullard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bullard scores with a jab to the body.
Bullard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bullard clobbers Man with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bullard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bullard gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Man lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bullard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bullard wants to sweep but Man has passed to side control!
Man is looking to take a break and control but Bullard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Man tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

You can see the frustration on Bullard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bullard is looking to reverse the position.

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bullard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Man tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Man trying to control the action but Bullard is working from the bottom.
Bullard on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Bullard is looking for a sweep.
Bullard wants to control but Man postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man throwing strikes but Bullard manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Bullard working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Man is trying to get back to half guard.

Man is looking for a sweep.
Man manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bullard's best efforts.

Man preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Bullard throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Man wants to get back to full guard.
Man is holding on to half guard well.
Bullard missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Man is staying active underneath Bullard, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Man trying to control here.
Man preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bullard is looking to advance position but Man won't allow it.
Bullard missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Man is looking to control Bullard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Man avoid being mounted?
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man is controlling Bullard's trapped leg to prevent Bullard from advancing to side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bullard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bullard lands a jab to the nose.
Bullard lands a slapping body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Buzz Bullard dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bullard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bullard cracks Man with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bullard displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Bullard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Bullard, which made it look bad.
Bullard moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nice jab there from Bullard.
Bullard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Man on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Man scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Man is thwarting Bullard's attempts to control the position.
Man is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Bullard is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Man is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bullard defends it well.

Bullard looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Man pushes past his half guard into mount!
Bullard tries to hold on but Man postures up.
Man landing strikes from the mount and Bullard is in trouble!
Bullard tries to reverse the position but Man maintains control.

Man working for a submission but Bullard is keeping him at bay.
Man is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bullard can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bullard is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Man locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bullard is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stan Man!
