Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Disk Jockey (ranked 4398 p4p, 5088 weight class) and Tony Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 234 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Disk Jockey !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Wyatt!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wyatt closes the distance and clinches.

Wyatt jumps into guard, dragging Jockey to the mat.
Jockey trying to control but Wyatt is working from the bottom.

Wyatt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jockey defends well.

Jockey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Wyatt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jockey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jockey looking to sit in guard and control but Wyatt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jockey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wyatt defends it easily.

Jockey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wyatt postures up in Jockey 's guard and throws a big left but Jockey blocks it.

Jockey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wyatt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wyatt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jockey throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wyatt escapes and throws Jockey 's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Jockey gets back to half guard.

Wyatt is working for a kimura but Jockey is defending it quite comfortably.
Wyatt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jockey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Donk. Jockey catches Wyatt right on the button with a cross.

Wyatt has an active guard here but Jockey has managed to pass into half guard.

That's time! Jockey 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wyatt drives through and clinches with Jockey against the cage.

Wyatt tries to pull guard but Jockey holds him up against the cage and eventually Wyatt drops back down to his feet.

Disk Jockey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Wyatt.

Wyatt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jockey wants to take a breather but Wyatt is having none of it.

Wyatt is squirming around, avoiding Jockey 's attempts to control the action.
Wyatt sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Wyatt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jockey haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Wyatt is looking to control Jockey 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wyatt avoid being mounted?

That was a close second round but I would say that Disk Jockey will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
