Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ural Mallon!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Scarface.
Scarface lands a nice shot that snaps Mallon's head back.
Scarface throws a sloppy body shot

and Mallon counters by moving into the clinch.
Scarface tries to throw a body punch but Mallon avoids it by throwing Scarface back against the cage.
Scarface is looking to control Mallon's arms but Mallon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Scarface has his back to the cage.
Scarface wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mallon has him pressed against the cage.
Mallon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Scarface tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mallon's elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short body shot lands from Mallon as the two fighters clinch.
Mallon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scarface has had enough of the clinch but Mallon keeps him there for the moment.

Scarface is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mallon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Scarface to the mat. Scarface regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Scarface wriggles free and stands up.
Scarface throws a leg kick that is checked

and Mallon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Scarface is looking to escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mallon is trying to control. Scarface wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mallon is working for a kimura but Scarface is defending it quite comfortably.

Still in half guard, Mallon seems content to control.

Scarface makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
