Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralf Rattenfanger (ranked 3445 p4p, 4285 weight class) and Cody Garbrandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cody Garbrandt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rattenfanger feints and then cracks Garbrandt 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Garbrandt down.
Garbrandt misses with the combination.
Garbrandt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rattenfanger seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Rattenfanger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garbrandt manages to avoid it.
Despite the aggression on Garbrandt 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Rattenfanger scores with a sloppy right hand. Garbrandt should have avoided that one.
Rattenfanger throws a quick inside leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rattenfanger.
Rattenfanger lands a lovely overhand right.
Rattenfanger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Garbrandt doesn't manage to clinch there - Rattenfanger circles away.
Rattenfanger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Garbrandt is rocked!
Rattenfanger connects with an inside leg kick.
Garbrandt is still on wobbly legs! Can Rattenfanger finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Garbrandt shoots in and drives through. Rattenfanger sprawls well.
Garbrandt seems to have recovered his senses.

Rattenfanger tries to keep at a distance but Garbrandt has taken the fight into the clinch.

Garbrandt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rattenfanger connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ralf Rattenfanger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rattenfanger lands a nice looking kick to the body. Garbrandt takes a step back to recover.

Rattenfanger cracks Garbrandt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rattenfanger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Garbrandt to stand back up!
Garbrandt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rattenfanger. That one must have hurt.

Rattenfanger lands a big head kick that sends Garbrandt tumbling to the mat! Rattenfanger takes a step backwards and waves Garbrandt back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garbrandt .
Ralf Rattenfanger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Garbrandt .
Garbrandt looks winded!
Garbrandt throws a head kick but Rattenfanger moves out of range.

Rattenfanger lands a big head kick that sends Garbrandt tumbling to the mat! Rattenfanger takes a step backwards and waves Garbrandt back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rattenfanger lands a body shot.
Garbrandt leaves his chin hanging out and Rattenfanger seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Garbrandt crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
