Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Ditkovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Miles Fairisles!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fairisles closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ditkovich quickly recovers to half guard.
Ditkovich looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fairisles with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Fairisles's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
It looks like Fairisles might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Fairisles feints and as Ditkovich raises his hands in defense, Fairisles changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Miles Fairisles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Let's hope that Fairisles has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ditkovich looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fairisles drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Ditkovich's face as Fairisles controls the position.

Miles Fairisles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Miles Fairisles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fairisles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
