The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarface throws a leg kick
and Jakobsen counters with a takedown into side control.
Jakobsen has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Jakobsen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jakobsen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Scarface is surviving well by controlling Jakobsen's body position as best he can.
Scarface is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jakobsen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Scarface is trying desperately to improve position.
Jakobsen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Scarface looks a forlorn figure.
