Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saheem Urman (ranked 4961 p4p, 5586 weight class) and Isoa Tawake (ranked 525 p4p, 554 weight class). Isoa Tawake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saheem Urman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Isoa Tawake!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tawake scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tawake throws a big shot that misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tawake. Urman does a little dance to reset his feet.

Urman shoots in and bounces Tawake off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Urman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Urman landing some decent shots from guard.
Urman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tawake is keeping the position for now.
Tawake looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urman forces his way into half guard.
Urman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Urman looks to land a strike but Tawake avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Urman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Urman throws a big right hand that misses.
Tawake controlling Urman's posture.
Urman tries to free his leg and advance position but Tawake is retaining full guard.
Urman lands a couple of digs.
Urman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Urman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tawake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Urman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Urman landing with the ground and pound.
Urman passes Tawake's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Urman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tawake's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tawake wants to get back to full guard.
Urman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Urman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Urman working over Tawake with some ground and pound. Tawake looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Urman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tawake keeps working.
Urman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Urman frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Urman raining down shots from the mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tawake wants to hold on but Urman pushes him away.
Urman wants to control the pace but Tawake is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Urman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tawake is rocked!

It looks like Isoa Tawake has been cut.
Tawake wants to hold on but Urman pushes him away.
Tawake is still in real trouble! Can Urman finish him?
Urman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tawake hang on?
Urman loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tawake scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Urman land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Urman stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saheem Urman!
Saheem Urman tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
