Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Toshimichi (ranked 2059 p4p, 2374 weight class) and Joshua Miller (ranked 267 p4p, 298 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daisuke Toshimichi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joshua Miller!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toshimichi swings widly with a right hand
and Miller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Toshimichi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Toshimichi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Miller.
Miller misses with a right hand
and Toshimichi counters with a stiff right hand.
Toshimichi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Miller throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Toshimichi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Toshimichi throws a hook but Miller blocks it.
Miller misses with a looping right.
Toshimichi just misses with a punch to the body.
Miller has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Toshimichi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.

Toshimichi gets tackled into the cage by Miller. Miller maintains the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Daisuke Toshimichi will probably get the nod.

Toshimichi lands a big right hand that sends Miller crashing to the mat! Toshimichi stays standing though and waves Miller back to his feet!

Toshimichi pounces like a tiger and cracks Miller with a vicious hook! Miller is down but not out! Toshimichi follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

An out of breath Daisuke Toshimichi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
