Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Rojo (ranked 3409 p4p, 24862 weight class) and Jared Brunson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brunson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson throws a one two combo.
Brunson looks winded!
Rojo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brunson.
Brunson goes for a double leg but Rojo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rojo continues to drive forward.
Rojo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rojo connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Jared Brunson has been cut.

Rojo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rojo clobbers Brunson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Rojo lands a big right hand that sends Brunson crashing to the mat! Rojo stays standing though and waves Brunson back to his feet!

Rojo drops Brunson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brunson looks back up at him and smiles so Rojo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rojo darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Brunson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rojo before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
