Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deontae Collins (ranked 2979 p4p, 3697 weight class) and Siggurd Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Siggurd Ragnarson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins throws a sloppy head kick and Ragnarson moves out of range easily.

Collins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Collins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Collins is trying to control the action in half guard but Ragnarson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ragnarson trying to control but Collins postures up.
Ragnarson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Collins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ragnarson on the ground.
Ragnarson has a closed guard, preventing Collins from standing up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ragnarson trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Collins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ragnarson pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Collins is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Ragnarson has taken his back.

Collins tries to roll but Ragnarson sticks to his back.

Collins tries to keep at a distance but Ragnarson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ragnarson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ragnarson is trying to pull guard but Collins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ragnarson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Collins just stands there and leans against the cage.
Deontae Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Siggurd Ragnarson.
Ragnarson jumps guard but Collins stands there with Ragnarson around his waist. Ragnarson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Collins throws a head kick but Ragnarson moves out of range.
Ragnarson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ragnarson tries to close the distance and clinch but Collins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Collins misses with a hook.

Ragnarson decides to pull guard.
Collins wants to stand and escape but instead Ragnarson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ragnarson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Ragnarson passes Collins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Collins tries to get to full guard but Ragnarson has control of the leg.
Ragnarson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Collins!
Collins has given up his back here. Will Ragnarson look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Ragnarson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Collins is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Ragnarson has one arm under Collins 's neck. Collins is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Ragnarson manages to get his arm free though and Collins is in a world of trouble! Ragnarson sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Collins turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Siggurd Ragnarson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
