Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Galanis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Koblav!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koblav scores with a takedown into Galanis's guard.

Koblav is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Galanis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Galanis has escaped and now he's on top!

Galanis is fighting to break Koblav's control of his arms but Koblav is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Koblav is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Galanis is aware though and is defending well.

Koblav goes for a double leg but Galanis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Galanis continues to drive forward.

Koblav shoots for a takedown but Galanis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Galanis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Koblav shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Galanis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Koblav drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Galanis dives on top into guard.

Galanis tries to score with some ground and pound. Koblav controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Galanis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Koblav tries to buck Galanis off but Galanis is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Galanis knocks out Koblav with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Galanis before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Galanis picks up the big W with a huge KO!

After winning the bout, Adrian Galanis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
