Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chidi Chika (ranked 60 p4p, 484 weight class) and Saul Goodman (ranked 5 p4p, 29 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saul Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Goodman.
Chika keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Goodman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chika counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chika dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Goodman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chika moves away.
Goodman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Chidi Chika has been cut.
Goodman misses with the body kick
and Chika connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chika swats away the attempt to clinch by Goodman.
A looping hook to the body misses from Goodman. Chika does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chika throws a quick counter kick to the body but Goodman avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Goodman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Goodman scores with the left hand. Chika knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A low kick lands for Goodman.
Chika looks to throw the jab but Goodman is out of range.

Goodman misses with a looping right.
Chika on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Chika throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chika has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Rubber Guard Emporium in the buildup to the fight.
Chika ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Goodman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chika, pushing him back against the cage.
Goodman is trying to stall.
Goodman misses with some punches.
Goodman tries a body shot but Chika blocks it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chika.

Chika breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Goodman throws a leg kick
and Chika counters with a good, hard body kick but Goodman shrugs it off.
Chika circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chika stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goodman.
Goodman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chika swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chika appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Goodman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goodman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chika moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goodman moves to clinch but Chika breaks away
and Chika cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Goodman moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A right hand to the body from Chika.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chika.
Goodman told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Goodman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chikas head.
Goodman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chika pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Goodman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chika blocks it with crossed arms.

Chika lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Goodman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chika's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Goodman misses with an uppercut.
Chika feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Chika takes one to the side of the head.
Chika cracks Goodman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Saul Goodman has been cut.
Goodman jabs at Chika's body.
Saul Goodman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Chika counters with a crisp right hand that drops Goodman! Chika lets Goodman back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Goodman is rocked!
Goodman connects with a body shot that sends Chika's belly button to the back.
Chika is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Chika buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Chika avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Goodman throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chika lands a nice hook to Goodman's body. Goodman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
