Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dharya Bhate (ranked 4774 p4p, 4925 weight class) and Mackin Hooez (ranked 338 p4p, 345 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mackin Hooez!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Chris Dean and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bhate got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hooez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bhate has managed to get both his arms back between Hooez's legs - danger averted.

Bhate tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bhate has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bhate has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hooez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bhate.

Well Hooez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
