Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Spence (ranked 2786 p4p, 5803 weight class) and Leon Maximilian (ranked 348 p4p, 499 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spence might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flashpoint. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leon Maximilian!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximilian goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Spence misses the shot to the body.

Maximilian gets a takedown into half guard.
Maximilian is looking to take a break and control but Spence is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Spence is controlling Maximilian's trapped leg to prevent Maximilian from advancing to side control.
Maximilian is trying to control the action in half guard but Spence is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spence knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maximilian on the ground.

Spence is trying is best to control the position here.
Maximilian is looking to take a break and control but Spence is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That kick from Maximilian tenderised Spence's leg. Spence is trying to keep his angry face on.
Maximilian doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Spence stuns Maximilian with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maximilian looks winded!
Spence connects with a jab.
Spence looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Nicholas Spence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spence lands a head shot.
Maximilian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Spence to score with a decent uppercut.

Maximilian is rocked!

Spence lands a big uppercut and Maximilian crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Maximilian looks OK. Spence waves Maximilian back to his feet!
Maximilian is still on wobbly legs! Can Spence finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spence circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Maximilian tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Spence wins by KO!
