Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arlo Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lil Fella!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash tries to close the distance and clinch but Fella swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cash rushes Fella and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cash tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cash is trying to pull guard but Fella turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cash avoids the elbow strike from Fella, against the cage.
Cash is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fella to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arlo Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fella looking to throw knees to the head but Cash is blocking nicely.
Fella misses with an elbow strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Fella just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cash's brow.
Cash blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Fella is trying to force a seperation but Cash has the dominant position.
Fella tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cash avoids it.

Cash manages to pull guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Cash's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Fella avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cash had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fella defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cash has his foot on Fella's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fella works his way back into a safe position though.

Fella wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving.
Fella controls from within his opponent's guard.

Fella drops back looking for a leg! Cash is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cash manages to kick Fella off! Fella jumps back into Cash's guard.

Fella stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Cash throws up his legs and catches Fella in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Fella tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Cash! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Arlo Cash!
Arlo Cash decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
