Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cooper Roos (ranked 123 p4p, 365 weight class) and Ansis Kaupens (ranked 13 p4p, 47 weight class). Roos comes to the cage accompanied by EASY MONEY. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cooper Roos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ansis Kaupens!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kaupens comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kaupens swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Roos counters with an inside leg kick.
Kaupens throws a body punch but Roos moves out of range.
Kaupens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roos throws a jab but it's blocked by Kaupens.

Roos tried to counter with a leg kick but Kaupens avoided it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Roos counters with a nice body kick.
Kaupens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A little feinted left hand from Roos on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
