The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
File misses with a head kick.

Kotula looking to score a takedown here. File is defending well but Kotula drives through and ends up in File's guard.
Kotula sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed File's guard.
Kotula trying to mount his opponent but File defends it.
File really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kotula. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kotula is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
File is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

File wants to control but Kotula is keeping busy.
