Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biscuit Oliva (ranked 640 p4p, 335 weight class) and Zheko Melondov (ranked 36 p4p, 17 weight class). Oliva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vo Williams - Primal (ft. Vyceroy). Melondov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Exploration of Space by Cosmic Gate kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biscuit Oliva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Zheko Melondov!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melondov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oliva was well out of range. Poor timing from Melondov.
Melondov scores with a hook to the body. Oliva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Melondov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oliva's hands.
It looks like Biscuit Oliva has been cut.
Oliva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oliva throws a leg kick that is checked
and Melondov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A nice leg kick lands there from Melondov.
Oliva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Melondov is trying to stand up here but Oliva is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Melondov can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Melondov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oliva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oliva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Oliva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Melondov pushes Oliva off looking to stand but Oliva dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliva is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Melondov tries to kick Oliva off but Oliva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Oliva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Oliva works his way into full mount!

Oliva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Melondov looks a forlorn figure.
Melondov is trying to stand.
Oliva looking to control but Melondov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Melondov is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliva won't let Melondov get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Oliva sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Oliva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Melondov looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oliva trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oliva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Melondov for as long as he can get away with.
Oliva looking to control but Melondov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Oliva is landing with some decent strikes but Melondov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Oliva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Oliva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
You get the feeling that Melondov really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Melondov is squirming around, avoiding Oliva's attempts to control the action.
Melondov is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Oliva lands a big shot there that rocks Melondov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oliva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Oliva connects with a bit shot that sees Melondov covering up! More strikes from Oliva and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Oliva is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Biscuit Oliva!
Biscuit Oliva decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
