The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson closes the distance but Meredith moves to the side
and Meredith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Meredith, as that shot connected.
Meredith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
Jackson moves out of range as Meredith strikes.

Jackson tries to clinch up but Meredith circles away and keeps his distance.
Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meredith.
Meredith takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Meredith jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Meredith connects with a single shot there.

Jackson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Meredith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Meredith finish him?

Meredith is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jackson throws a front kick aimed at Meredith's knee but Meredith avoids it well.
Meredith catches Jackson with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Jackson forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
