The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motts throws a looping overhand right but Thompson ducks down to avoid it.

Ricky Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson goes for a double leg but Motts avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Motts continues to drive forward.
