Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Hedegaard (ranked 1758 p4p, 3612 weight class) and Felix Krnacova (ranked 240 p4p, 430 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Hedegaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 42 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Krnacova!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hedegaard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Krnacova manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Krnacova tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hedegaard slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Krnacova not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Krnacova looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hedegaard is one step ahead there.
Hedegaard wants to control from the top but Krnacova keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hedegaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hedegaard wants to control from the top but Krnacova keeps moving.
Krnacova working a defensive guard but Hedegaard manages to pass into side control anyway.
Krnacova takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hedegaard tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hedegaard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Krnacova is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krnacova can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hedegaard tries for a kimura but Krnacova is defending well.
Krnacova tries to improve position but can't.
Hedegaard is trying to get an arm triangle but Krnacova is defending well.
Krnacova really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hedegaard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Krnacova is not content to let Hedegaard control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hedegaard perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Krnacova is looking for a sweep. Hedegaard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Krnacova is not content to let Hedegaard control the position.
Hedegaard tries to pass the half guard into mount. Krnacova knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hedegaard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hedegaard has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Krnacova defend it? Hedegaard steps over the head and cranks it - Krnacova is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hedegaard!
