The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankovic slips a straight right by Kosmanov.
Kosmanov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

We've been hearing reports that Kosmanov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Kosmanov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jankovic's half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jankovic sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kosmanov is keen to just control but Jankovic is a slippery customer.
Kosmanov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jankovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kosmanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Kosmanov will probably get the nod.

No joy there for Kosmanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jankovic throws out a counter right but Kosmanov avoids it with no problem.

In his post fight interview, Marko Jankovic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
