Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winter Panda (ranked 3503 p4p, 3687 weight class) and Tony Pacucci (ranked 434 p4p, 452 weight class). Tony Pacucci will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Winter Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Pacucci!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pacucci closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pacucci is on top in guard.

My spies in Besta-Fera Training Center inform me that Pacucci has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Pacucci has hold of Panda's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Panda tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pacucci cranks the arm and Panda screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Panda, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tony Pacucci!
