Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kra Hang (ranked 2019 p4p, 5897 weight class) and Rick Segura (ranked 271 p4p, 483 weight class). Segura has chosen Mystic Rick - Press Conference as his entrance music. Kra Hang had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kra Hang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Segura!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hang leaves Segura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Segura.
Segura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Segura.
Hang slaps away a takedown attempt from Segura, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hang was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hang!

It looks like Rick Segura has been cut.
Segura throws a looping overhand right but Hang ducks down to avoid it.
Segura throws a lazy right hand but Hang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Segura ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Segura no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Kra Hang will probably get the nod.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Segura has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hang is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Segura.
Hang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Segura keeps working.
