Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael McConnell !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peyton Manning!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Manning counter with a right hand.
McConnell takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McConnell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Manning's waist but Manning gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McConnell off to one side.
Good standup being displayed there by Manning as he connects with a hook.
Manning moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Manning misses with the combination.
Manning smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McConnell clinches up with Manning and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McConnell jumps guard but Manning turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael McConnell . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Manning has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Manning is struggling to control the position.
McConnell 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No joy there for Manning, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McConnell on the wrong end of a nice jab.
McConnell misses with a takedown attempt - Manning sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McConnell dives in and grabs Manning's left leg, looking for a takedown. Manning pushes down on McConnell 's head and hops out.
Manning loads up on a big right hand but McConnell slips the punch.
McConnell darts in trying to clinch
and Manning counters with a nice body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McConnell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Manning defends well and McConnell ends up having to push Manning into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Manning throws a counter combo.
McConnell wants a takedown but no success here.
A head punch on the inside from McConnell fails to land.
McConnell controlling the action here for a moment.
McConnell tries to pull guard but Manning holds him up against the cage and eventually McConnell drops back down to his feet.
Manning wants to break free but McConnell has control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McConnell successfully pulls guard.
Manning has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McConnell is proving hard to escape from.
McConnell pushes Manning off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Manning misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Manning!
McConnell tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Manning counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McConnell dives in for a single leg takedown but Manning sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Manning wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McConnell has him pressed against the cage.
McConnell tries to score a body lock takedown but Manning shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
McConnell jumps guard but Manning turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
McConnell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McConnell slips a jab and a cross from Manning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McConnell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manning as he avoids it easily.
McConnell tries for a takedown but Manning sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McConnell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manning tries to avoid it but McConnell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manning to the ground. Manning escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McConnell is breathing heavily.
McConnell moves to clinch but Manning breaks away
and Manning counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peyton Manning dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A right-left combo lands from Manning.
Manning throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Manning throws a body kick that misses.
Jab, jab by Manning - just one landing.
Manning misses with a wild combination.
McConnell is looking to counter with head kicks.
Manning smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McConnell is rocked!
Manning circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops McConnell to the canvas! McConnell doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Manning keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peyton Manning!
Peyton Manning decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
