Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Imagine Thibodeaux (ranked 23606 p4p, 18067 weight class) and Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 550 p4p, 540 weight class). Dimitrov has chosen Drake - Energy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Imagine Thibodeaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Dimitrov!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux lands a glancing blow to the side of Dimitrov's head.

It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.

Dimitrov moves into the clinch.
Thibodeaux takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Imagine Thibodeaux has been cut.

Dimitrov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dimitrov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Thibodeaux avoids the head kick by Dimitrov.
The fighters circling - Dimitrov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thibodeaux swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A punch combination from Dimitrov misses.
Dimitrov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Thibodeaux dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dimitrov. That did some damage!
Thibodeaux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dimitrov swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dimitrov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dimitrov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thibodeaux ducks under a wild hook from Dimitrov.
Dimitrov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Daniel Dimitrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dimitrov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Thibodeaux is out of range.
Dimitrov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dimitrov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thibodeaux clobbers Dimitrov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dimitrov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dimitrov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thibodeaux to score with a decent uppercut.

That has opened up Daniel Dimitrov's cut even more.

Thibodeaux blocks a head kick by Dimitrov.

Thibodeaux throws out a head kick that Dimitrov doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Dimitrov crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Dimitrov's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Thibodeaux throws a switch kick that catches Dimitrov on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Dimitrov looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Dimitrov flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Imagine Thibodeaux!
