The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh is looking to clinch.
Altuve is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Walsh moves into the clinch successfully.
Come on Walsh - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Altuve has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Walsh avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Walsh tries for a takedown. No joy.

Walsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Walsh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Altuve manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Walsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Altuve swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Altuve is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
