The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercenary throws a jab when Edmund was well out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Edmund misses the target.
Mercenary connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mercenary scores with a jab to the jaw.

Mercenary drops Edmund with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Edmund looks back up at him and smiles so Mercenary waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Edmund is rocked!

It looks like King Edmund has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Edmund is holding his hands too far apart here. Mercenary throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Edmund is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
