Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Frewin (ranked 466 p4p, 822 weight class) and Dan Donovan (ranked 27 p4p, 45 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Frewin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Billy the Squid's Water Pistol by The Neptunas. Butch Frewin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Butch Frewin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frewin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Donovan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Frewin walks into a straight right hand from Donovan.
Donovan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frewin.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Donovan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Donovan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Frewin doesn't seem bothered though.
Frewin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Frewin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Donovan on the side of the head.

It looks like Dan Donovan has been cut.

and Frewin counters with a nice right hand that sends Donovan toppling to the canvas! Donovan scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Frewin finish him?!

Donovan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frewin was well out of range. Poor timing from Donovan.

Frewin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Donovan.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Frewin knocks Donovan out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

A relieved looking Butch Frewin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
