The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Rocky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rocksaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rocky.

Rocky pulls Rocksaw in close to prevent any damage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rocksaw working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rocksaw gets to his feet and stands over Rocky, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rocky felt that one! Rocksaw unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rocky from any more punishment!
