Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wes Mangan (ranked 4418 p4p, 3806 weight class) and Denis Rurov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wes Mangan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Denis Rurov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rurov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mangan can pounce on him.
Mangan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mangan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Rurov counters with a crisp one two that drops Mangan! Rurov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mangan to his feet! Mangan is in big trouble!
Rurov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Rurov cracks Mangan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mangan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rurov finish him?

Mangan is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mangan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Oh Mangan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mangan shoots and misses
and Rurov rattles Mangan with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Mangan tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rurov dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Mangan stiff and motionless on the mat!
