Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azor Ahai (ranked 654 p4p, 503 weight class) and James Hunt (ranked 106 p4p, 82 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azor Ahai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahai misses the shot to the body.
Hunt tried to score with a low kick but Ahai checks it.
Ahai is looking to counter punch.
Ahai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ahai.
Ahai fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hunt just manages to avoid it.
Hunt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hunt lunges at Ahai with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ahai's hand.
Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hunt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hunt swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ahai throws a head kick that misses.
Hunt misses with a right hand
and Ahai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hunt throws a sloppy body shot
and Hunt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ahai takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ahai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ahai throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ahai throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ahai on the wrong end of a nice jab.
James Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ahai misses with a body shot.
Hunt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hunt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ahai's head backwards.
Ahai misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.
Hunt let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Hunt connects with a leg kick.
Hunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ahai fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ahai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Nice shot lands for Hunt.
Hunt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ahai appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Hunt connects with a right hand. Ahai shakes it off.
Ahai walks into a stiff left hand from Hunt.
Ahai takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hunt misses with a looping right.
Ahai swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hunt misses with a shot to the body
and Ahai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hunt thuds his right hand into Ahai's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Hunt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ahai doesn't seem phased though.
Ahai on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hunt. Hunt obviously looking to wear him down.
Hunt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ahai. That did some damage!
Hunt looks to throw a body kick
and Ahai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ahai moves away from the strike by Hunt.
Hunt throws a leg kick which misses Ahai's front leg but catches the back leg as Ahai tries to avoid it.
Hunt scores with a punch to the head.

Ahai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hunt.
Hunt has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Hunt lands a jab to the head.
Hunt misses with a body kick.
It appears Ahai was looking to counter with a kick there.
Hunt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hunt misses with a left hand
and Hunt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ahai slips a jab from Hunt.
Hunt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ahai scoring well with a low kick there.
Hunt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ahai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hunt.
Ahai swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A clash of legs there as Ahai blocks the low kick.
It looked like Ahai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ahai is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ahai throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hunt clobbers Ahai with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ahai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunt throws out the jab.
A little feinted left hand from Ahai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Nice body punch from Hunt.
Ahai slips a straight right by Hunt.
Hunt throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Ahai to counter with a crisp jab.
Hunt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ahai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ahai chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Ahai is just out of range.
A cross from Hunt lands.
Hunt scores with a shot to the body.
Ahai misses with a low kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ahai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hunt to score with a decent uppercut.
Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ahai avoids the body shot from Hunt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

James Hunt dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ahai keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hunt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ahai takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ahai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hunt.
Ahai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Hunt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hunt throws a looping overhand right but Ahai ducks down to avoid it.
Hunt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ahai checks a low kick from Hunt.

Ahai avoids a kick to the body.
Ahai looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hunt connects with a single shot there.
Ahai jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ahai walks into a straight right hand from Hunt.
Ahai throws a right hand that Hunt ducks under and follows up with a left that Hunt also avoids with ease.

It seemed like Hunt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ahai missing with a left hand there. Hunt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hunt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Ahai avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Hunt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ahai.

An inside leg kick from Hunt misses.
Ahai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hunt.
Hunt lands with an overhand left.
Ahai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ahai scrambles back to his feet.
James Hunt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunt throws a good cross that connects.
Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hunt tries to land a front kick but Ahai steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ahai throws a jab when Hunt was well out of range.
Ahai on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hunt lands a really nice looking cross but Ahai seems unphased.

Ahai is rocked!
Hunt lands with a slapping head kick.
Oh Ahai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hunt pounces like a tiger and cracks Ahai with a vicious hook! Ahai is down but not out! Hunt follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Hunt!
James Hunt was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
