The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes misses with an uppercut.
Winston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Holmes.
Holmes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Holmes misses with a low kick.
Holmes loads up on a big right hand but Winston slips the punch.
Holmes throws a low kick but Winston avoids it.
Holmes looks to land a right hand but Winston moved out of range.
Winston is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Holmes throws a leg kick which misses Winston's front leg but catches the back leg as Winston tries to avoid it.
Winston looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Winston blocks a low kick nicely.

Michael Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmes loads up on a big right hand but Winston slips the punch.
Winston raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Holmes fails in his attempt to clinch.

Holmes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holmes will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
As Holmes backs off Winston throws a huge counter combo but Holmes manages to avoid it all.
Winston connects with a body shot.

and Winston counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Holmes is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Holmes moves out of range as Winston strikes.
Winston throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Holmes crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
