Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Okoro Igwe (ranked 2976 p4p, 4566 weight class) and Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 405 p4p, 541 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boytsov!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe stuffs the takedown.
A counter left hand to the body from Igwe misses its target.
Boytsov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boytsov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Boytsov feints the counter takedown.
Boytsov is looking to clinch.
Boytsov moves out of range of the strikes.
Boytsov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Okoro Igwe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Igwe lands with a shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Igwe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boytsov.
Boytsov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Boytsov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Igwe.
Igwe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boytsov feints the counter takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boytsov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Igwe.
Boytsov throws out a counter right but Igwe avoids it with no problem.
Igwe slaps away a takedown attempt from Boytsov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boytsov dodges the punch combination from Igwe.
Boytsov feints the counter takedown.
Igwe throws a body shot but no joy.
Boytsov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boytsov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Igwe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boytsov.
Igwe wants to control but Boytsov is keeping busy.
Boytsov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Igwe is just riding it out for now. Boytsov eventually gives up the hold.

Igwe works his way to full guard. Good work.
Igwe trying to keep a closed guard but Boytsov is proving a slippery customer.
Boytsov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Igwe keeping moving, preventing Boytsov from controlling successfully.
Boytsov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Igwe has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Boytsov is looking to defend but Igwe has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Boytsov! Igwe pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Boytsov taps out and this one is all over!
